Request an SCS-103 Annex A Sub-Category or Product Type

Stakeholders may request the inclusion of a new product sub-category or product type to the SCS-103 Recycled Content Standard Annex A: Supplemental Criteria for Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

Requests for new product category (i.e., the development of a new Annex to the SCS-103 Recycled Content Standard) can be submitted here.

(including industry standard sources for definitions and potential boundaries)
(composition information includes material input by weight, the recycled content input by its material claim, and the final overall product weight)
(due to limitation in information through supply chain or other risks, such as use of medical or food-grade plastics)
SCS will review the request within 5 business days for standing. Typically, new sub-categories requests are addressed within 3-5 months, and new product types within existing sub-categories within 1-2 months. These timelines are estimates and will vary based on scope and data availability.
