Description:
The standard provides site-specific performance criteria for climate-related and water-related risks, quality monitoring and responsible water use practices, with optional additional requirements that allow sites to achieve further recognition.

Assurance System:
Conformance with SCS-116 requirements is assessed through annual audits conducted by SCS Global Services, a qualified and independent third party. Audits are conducted according to scheme-specific and relevant international standards.
