Description:
This standard (SCS-116) is applicable to organizations of all sizes and industries seeking to demonstrate effective water stewardship and water resiliency practices. It provides a framework for assessing and managing site-specific climate- and water-related risks, water quality monitoring, and responsible water use practices. Certification against SCS-116 requires organizations to implement measures that improve water stewardship, strengthen resilience to climate-related impacts, and promote transparent reporting of environmental performance. By encouraging responsible water management, risk reduction, and the adoption of innovative and nature-based solutions, this standard supports the long-term sustainability of water resources and the communities that depend on them.
