Hannah Kasun
Senior Standards Associate, Food & Agriculture
Hannah serves as Senior Standards Associate, Food & Agriculture at SCS Standards. She brings a breadth of experience managing and contributing to interdisciplinary sustainability projects, ranging from zero-waste initiatives to science communication and outreach. A collaborative and dynamic professional, her role with SCS Standards has included regulatory research, stakeholder engagement, benchmarking, gap analysis, decision facilitation, and the development of both production and chain of custody standards.
In previous roles, Hannah has supported the development and implementation of sustainability programs in higher education as well as acted as a consultant for clients in the U.S. agricultural industry around topics such as pesticide risk mitigation, pollinator health, and regenerative agriculture. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Food Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has completed graduate-level coursework in Environment and Development at the University of Copenhagen.
