Dr. Rachel Boothby-Hentschel

Senior Standards Associate

Rachel serves as Senior Standards Associate at SCS Standards, bringing a solutions-oriented approach to responsible sourcing and sustainability standards development. She combines analytical research skills with practical project management to support the development of credible, science-based standards. Her experience includes developing standards and protocols in agricultural production, manufacturing, and circularity; conducting legal research; and producing multi-standard benchmarking analyses.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s degree and PhD in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
